Thanks for visiting our school's homepage.  During the summer months, our staff and faculty are taking a few weeks to rest, relax and rejuvenate in anticipation of a terrific 2009-2010 school year!  I hope that your family creates opportunities to enjoy each other and get ready for a great new school year as well.  If you are a new family to E. Rivers, Welcome! Please take a few minutes to peruse this website for lots of information regarding registration and dates for the new school year.  Our welcome back open house, known as "Celebration of Learning" is set for Friday, August 7^th from 9:00a until 11:00a.  This is the day when students find out who their teacher will be and are invited to visit their new classrooms briefly.  There will be a New Parents Information Session with me and the PTA President on Sunday afternoon, August 9^th at 2:00p in the school auditorium.  Then, the first day of school will begin at 8:00a on Monday, August 10^th.  If you have specific questions about registration or other concerns, you may call the school during our adjusted summer hours of 8:30a - 3:30p each week day.   I look forward to seeing you soon!
